Quality/Certifications

Our Quality Management department has formed part of the main structure of the company since its inception and is directly subordinated to our CEO. The head of the Quality Management department is a member of the company’s top management. 

 

The task of the department is to control and ensure quality in the fields of material inputs, manufactured products in semi-finished and final phases and also to ensure quality in the fields of product expedition, warranty and post-warranty service.  

With regard to the general requirement of the complexity of quality assurance, the department is also responsible for quality control of internal processes, e.g. purchasing, project, technological and logistics which are carried out by other company departments. 

This requirement is expressed and fulfilled by the certification of the quality management system of JULI Motorenwerk, s.r.o. according to the international standard ISO 9001:2015.

The basic philosophy of quality management of JULI Motorenwerk includes: 

  • A focus on quality, stability, reliability and continuous supplier development with the aim of optimizing and minimizing the needs
    for individual entry inspection of supplied material to the plant.
  • A focus on the qualification, skilfulness, empowerment and essential responsibility of operators, assemblers and testing workers in the production process. The Quality management department holds only a monitoring role in the production process,
    managing measures for non-conforming production solutions.
  • A focus on customer support. The Quality management department processes information about potential non-conformities and ensures that effective prevention measures are taken with the aim of minimizing the risk of human error.

Since 2014, JULI Motorenwerk, s.r.o. has created a Quality management system according to standard ISO 9001. The company uses within its quality management system the PDCA cycle, risk and opportunity analyses tools,  improves all processes in the quality management system, takes into account the umbrella contract on the protection of personal data between the supplier and the customer and follows all seven principles of the quality management system: Customer Focus, Leadership, Engagement of People, Process Approach, Improvement, Evidence-based Decision-making and Relationship Management.  

Products of JULI Motorenwerk, s.r.o. are delivered with a declaration of conformity according to the European Union directive No. 2006/42/ES. Products designed for the North American market must comply with the requirements of the UL standards and must also be certified according to these requirements. 

JULI Motorenwerk, s.r.o. is a member of the VDMA, a prestigious German organization bringing together engineering companies. This membership enables us to actively participate in the preparation of new European directives in the field of electric machines, exchange information with other members and monitor economic indicators in engineering in individual regions. 

Since 2nd September 1994, JULI Motorenwerk has been a full member of the German-Czech Chamber of Industry and Commerce. In 2009 the company was awarded a Gold Diploma for its fifteen-year membership.  

Since 2014 JULI Motorenwerk, s.r.o. has been regularly evaluated by Bisnode and since 2015 we have always been awarded the best rating AA. 

The head of the Research department is a member of the IEEE, an international non-profit organization seeking to promote technology related to electrical engineering.
